Help FareShare Yorkshire recover from burglaries

Please consider helping us to cover the £1,500 cost of repairing damage and replacing vital items caused by two burglaries at our Leeds-based warehouse.

Money for our volunteers’ bus fares was stolen along with two projectors needed to provide skills training to local unemployed people and minor items vital to our daily work.

Any help you can give us would be gratefully received as our staff and volunteers try to move past this heartbreaking episode:

FareShare is the only charity to take food from the wholesale level of the food industry

The vast majority of surplus occurs before food even gets to the supermarket. Each FareShare regional centre takes that food and redistributes to those in need. FareShare Go is our supermarket collection service, which deals with supermarket-level surplus.
