Air Partner give lift off to 2022

Air Partner have made a wonderful monetary donation to FareShare Yorkshire to support our work this Christmas and into 2022.

Staff at the global aviation services group, which performs a lot of its operations at Doncaster Airport,  nominated FareShare Yorkshire for their 2021 donation in order to aid us through this hard winter period.

Their generous donation will help us to weather the massive haulage, fuel and health pressures faced by our team.  This comes at a time when we aim to serve more Doncaster-based organisations but face bigger challenges than ever before; even more so than in 2020.

Jonathan Williams, Head of Development said “I was so astonished at Air Partner’s generosity that when Greg Charman called to let me know the news I had to ask him to repeat what he’d said!  Our whole team felt a mix of disbelief, relief and joy at this incredible offer of support at a time when haulage pressures especially are of the greatest concern and our waiting lists grow by the week.”

The group was founded in 1961 to provide aircraft charter, aviation safety & security solutions to industry, governments, private individuals and civil defence organisations. They began as a school for military pilots converting to civilian flying using flight simulators and light aircraft.

We are excited to work with Air Partner in 2022 when they support our chilled vans to make vital deliveries across Doncaster.  The entire trustee, volunteer and staff team at FareShare Yorkshire thanks our friends at Air Partner for all of their wonderful support.
