The Board of Trustees would like to announce that effective from 19th May 2025, Jonathan Williams has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of FareShare Yorkshire.

Jonathan, who has been serving as Deputy CEO, is well known to all of us for his dedication, leadership, and passion for our mission. His commitment, over many years, to FareShare Yorkshire’s vision of tackling food insecurity has been evident throughout his time with us. Jonathan has played a pivotal role in so many areas of our work, not least fundraising, securing food, strengthening community and local government partnerships, and enhancing our operational effectiveness across the region.

As CEO, Jonathan will continue to drive our mission forward, building on the strong foundation he has helped to create. His understanding of our organisation, combined with his strategic insight, his energy and hands-on approach, makes him exceptionally well-suited to lead FareShare Yorkshire into its next chapter.

We are delighted to have Jonathan at the helm and are confident that his leadership will bring even greater success to our organisation. Please join us in congratulating Jonathan as he takes on his new role as CEO of FareShare Yorkshire.
